Success Stories of Obstetrician Surgery

Case 1

A 16 year old young girl came to my clinic with very anxious parents ...this is because she had a history of previous right-sided ovarian cyst( operated two years ago under me only)... the biopsy report then showed her mucinous cyst without any malignant change ...she came with pain lower abdomen and on ultrasound scan we found recurrence of a similar cyst on the right side which was huge in size about 15 cm ...we did the CT scan and the necessary blood test to find out its nature and it seemed to be a beningn one... but since it was a recurrent case of mucinous ovarian cyst so we thought of going for a laparoscopic ovarian removal along with appendicectomy... the biopsy report came out to be borderline mucinous ovarian cystadenoma... but thankfully we had removed the source of malignancy along with the appendix which can also act as source for such type of cyst... this led to careful observation of her during follow-up and now 1 years has passed and she is doing absolutely ok...
